High Voltage Cheer is passionately committed to cultivating an intensely competitive cheer program that simultaneously fosters a positive, enriching experience for every athlete involved. Our team of dedicated coaches, each bringing unique skills and experiences to the table, pledge to deliver personalized attention to each athlete. No one is overlooked in our program; we see the potential in every individual.

We take pride in our ability to provide our athletes with precise skill sets that not only make them formidable cheer competitors but also allow for significant growth in their school and other extracurricular programs. This comprehensive approach to development sets our athletes up for success in many areas of their lives.

High Voltage Cheer is more than just a cheer program. We are a catalyst for community building and personal development. We take immense pride in our role as educators and mentors, and we are committed to cultivating true community ambassadors. Co-Owner & Coach

Coach Scott Weyrauch

Scott Weyrauch, known as Coach Scott, is a well-rounded professional with roots in gymnastics and a 4-year varsity wrestling career. His military service further instilled discipline and resilience. His cheerleading journey began at the University of Central Missouri, and he later spent 13 years at Steppin Out the Studio, where he rose to the position of Cheer Director. In 2012, he leveraged his extensive experience to establish High Voltage Cheer. With over 18 years in coaching, Scott believes in the power of hard work and personal interaction, always striving to help each athlete reach their individual goals.

Coach Jessica Weyrauch

Jessica Weyrauch, known as Coach Jessi, has a competitive dance and cheerleading career spanning over 15 years, she has amassed numerous awards and competed nationally. Recognized as an All-American UCA cheer team member and honored at the Odell Astaire awards, Jessica's achievements highlight her dedication and expertise. After refining her skills at Northwest Missouri State, she now applies her experience and passion to her role at High Voltage Cheer. As the lead choreographer, she has been awarded the Most Spirited Coach and Best Choreography awards. Committed to nurturing her athletes' potential, Jessica maintains a fine balance between discipline and fun, always prioritizing safety.

Coach Dalton Thornton

Dalton Thornton, also known as Coach DJ, is a seasoned professional with a competitive dance background from 2007 to 2012. He was awarded numerous scholarships at Steppin Out the Studio, including the prestigious Triple Threat Scholarship from the New York City Dance Alliance. Coach DJ is renowned for his high energy and meticulous approach to coaching, emphasizing sharp motions, clean lines, and confidence. He is committed to pushing each cheerleader to excel on and off the mat, fostering personal connections, and ensuring athlete growth without ego interference.

Kilowatts Head Coach

Coach Destiny Manford

Destiny Manford, known as Coach Dey, has an impressive background in cheerleading and gymnastics spanning 17 years. With a cheerleading journey that began at the age of 3, she spent 5 years on a competitive cheerleading team and then switched to gymnastics for 4 years. Coach Dey trained under an Olympic Coach before getting injured at a meet. After her injury, she returned to her cheerleading roots, joining her high school cheerleading team for a year before choosing to compete with High Voltage Cheer. During her three years as a competitor, she doubled as a student coach for younger competitive teams, recreational tumbling, and cheer. Currently, she is the Head Coach for Kilowatts, Youth Level 2, and also teaches tumbling during our recreational classes.

Electric Shock Head Coach

Coach Jazmine Gallagher

Jazmine Gallagher, known as Coach Jazmine, brings a wealth of experience from her 15 years as a competitive athlete. Beginning her journey as a student coach during high school, she quickly demonstrated her capability and dedication. Her skills extend beyond cheerleading, demonstrated by her letters in varsity cheer and soccer. Her coaching career started immediately after graduation, proving her commitment to nurturing the next generation of cheerleaders. Despite an unexpected gym closure, she sought a new home and found a perfect fit at High Voltage. Now in her 5th season, Coach Jazmine continues to inspire and guide her athletes with the same passion and dedication that marked the start of her cheer journey.
